I can't believe it's been a year. I can feel her tiny bottom in the center of my palm, a miniature baby, sweeter and more delicate than the rose which bears her name. Thank you, Allegra, for the time you shared with us.
I can't imagine anyone feeling more loved or cherished than precious Allegra for those 29 beautiful days of her life. Her life was short, but her impact is everlasting for many of us.
I have felt the same way many, many times about Zach. I search all the time for him as well to try and keep him close. I hope as you and your family are finding peace and able to celebrate her perfect life through the hard times as well as the good. I think about you and Allegra often.
Ali - I haven't visited this site for awhile. You always write such loving, insightful comments. Even when everyone else in the world goes forward, Allegra's spirit and her memory will always be with you and your family. I still think of you and pray that you are feeling peace and healing.
Hi Ali, I referenced your blog earlier this year when we found out we were having a trisomy 18 baby girl Juliet. Since then she has been born and amazingly has been able to be home with us the last 21 days. Through this journey I can't help but think of you and your journey...knowing we probably went through many of the same emotions. I just would love to ask you a few questions...not sure if you would share your email with me?? Or if you are even up to it. Let me know..thanks so much!
